Could the answer be more refs? Most teams do warm up, just not on the pitch. Maybe one more official to do the checking? I seem to remember doing it this way in another sport. More Refs mean more $$ for clubs. Every team should have a manager that triple checks shirt numbers while the team is warming up. Please, the problem is people don't do their jobs or enforce the regulations. The numbnuts that blow the whistle are the problems in many sports, futsal is no different. One thing is for certain, it will never change. Isn't the criteria for becoming a ref is to hold your 21st party and nobody turn up...

Many don't seem to realise that throwing your weight around does not lead to respect for authority

Looks like it's safe to assume that south coast are on the move back to pl. Let's hope this time that they make a better go of it than last time

Let's hope this time that they make a better go of it than last time Congratulations to South Coast Taipans.....In their defence, the Sth Coast Taipans club that competed in the Premier League previously is not the same club, only the same name.... Its now run by a new committee that work hard and professionally, I think they will do well in premier league.....I wish them all the best.

South Coast Taipans will be very competitive in Premier League. They have a great talent pool especially in the girls teams. Best of luck to them for the future.

I predicted on 8/12/2014 that 236 would win the competition for the Taipans to end up on 237. Yahooooo serious Premier league, I hope to get to a couple of games next season.

Taipans need to strengthen, especially in the seniors, to stay out of a relegation battle in PL. Looking at the last few years only Mountain Majik has gone up and then done well. Taipans the first time, Boomerangs, Phoenix were all in relegation battles after promotion to PL and eventually dropped and UTS will finish 7th their first season.

But that was only because their president went out and poached alot of players, teams and coaches. Seems like he is already out starting doing the same thing. Seems like he has his eye out on certain coaches, oh, and their team of course. Typical!

Even though they have done extremely well in SL - they still need to strengthen their squad to stay away from relegation in the top league. Loyalty v Survival - tough choice

Every single coach or convenor I've ever known does exactly that... isn't it part of the job description... Far too many people are far too precious... In the end players and parents will decide where to go based on what information they have been provided with to make that decision...

Majik were similar to Taipans when they won promotion - strong in the girls and some boys age groups but the seniors would struggle in PL. They went out and got a whole new women's team mostly from Vipers and added a couple of quality players to most of their junior teams and it worked for them. Distance will probably prevent Taipans from luring a large amount of players en masse so they are going to have to focus on quality training to ensure survival in the first season and then build from there.

I would suggest both the Men's and Women's teams at Taipans would struggle to win games in PL next year without the injection of some more experienced players.
