They have to be tired and jaded. There is no way most of those players have ever had such a sustained workload that they have been put under before. Poor babies. There's a solution for them, don't play football instead take up a less strenuous past time. Theyre meant to be professional sportsman.

wow your all heart .... I just save my heart for those more deserving. Those living with poverty and illness not professional footballers whose wonderful existence is being stalled by having to play 2/3 football games in a week. Waahhhh!

Fair enough, I would think a "professional" footballer would be able to handle it too, evidently not ..

izitjuzme,
I would definitely say that being a professional football is a lot harder than being a professional tosser like yourself. Ok, you may have wrist problems every now and then, but that's it really.

offdshoulder, I agree with what you have written. I have never liked the "Marque" idea, Ok it worked with D.Yorke in the beginning but the SYD FC just keep relying on bringing big name players in and hoping it makes a difference. Yes ADP may have been a crowd puller, but what about after ADP. Now what, the players are getting older, injuries etc. Is there a plan or program for the future ? As far as Carle goes, he never played to his full potential although some of the coaches didn't utilize him well at all. Adelaide is full of foreign players, but do we have the enough good players here ? Nicky Carle has always looked like a Coerver kid to me .....knows all the ball tricks but not when to utilise them....and can't play football. Is he the model example of isolated v holistic approach to training? Yeah I know he did play in the EPL but.... Ibini....fast but no idea what to do when he gets the ball other than run straight ahead Smeltz...over the hill Janko .....for a 9 he sure has trouble scoring goals not any more!

Arnold is a disgrace with his swearing on the TV. He and Muscat must be sisters.

Arnold is a disgrace with his swearing on the TV. He and Muscat must be sisters. What about the nutter from Perth that ran up to the camera, shoved his face in it and screamed expletives - serious anger management issue.

In our game we have the coaches acting like fools instead of the players.

What I don't like about their behaviour is that it's filtering down to the association levels and referees are getting harder to keep and recruit.
