Wonderful start to the season, can't say I like Victory but it was nice to see them thrash WSW. Some great goals!

mt - it's like choosing between Loserpool and City, a horrible choice whatever. But Victory certainly played well, I have to admit that.

Can't wait to see those 2 idiots, Muscat and Berisha lose the plot and start carrying on like the jerks that they are. There will be plenty of fun coming through the season. Muscat is the biggest grub I've seen come out of Aussie football so far.
Berisha is a good player at this level but has the IQ of a peanut and will probably get sent off at least 4 times this season, maybe 5.

mary,
While you are drinking your instant coffee and I'm " sipping " on my Latte I wonder what life would be like out there, ( where ever that may be, beyond the Grand Pde and Parramatta Rd. Good luck to the WSW. BUT, I'd rather be sipping on a Latte and my team coming last than drinking instant coffee and my team coming first. xoxoxox Darls.

Latte was lovely this morning. Isn't instant coffee when you text ahead and the Barista has you coffee ready when you arrive?

I don't think we need to worry about coming last this year kooka. In GA we trust.

What on earth was wrong with Sasha tonight? Played like he was drunk!
Good on George Blackwood getting a run, can't believe he hadn't played first grade for Apia yet GA is prepared to start him. Maybe the A League coaches are less conservative than their NSWPL counterparts. More likely that the NSWPL coaches don't really know what talent exists in their club outside first grade.
IMHO of course!

IMHO of course! This is a first I actually agree with you. Sasha looked underdone last nite. I actually thought he would be the captain this year, but Arnie went with Brosque. Maybe Sasha isn't a walk up start every week...

I think he's been eating too many pies with Bozza.
His first touch was awful, his distribution shocking and he looked totally unfit. Big improvement needed.
But just heard he had an ankle op three weeks ago and only trained this week, so I'm sure we'll see the real Sasha back soon.
