No one else seems to have answered your query so I'll have a go.
If you're referring to boys, the best players in Sydney metro are scouted, and then play for SFC or WSW junior academies. This is U13 onwards. The teams aged 13-16 play against all the youth PL combined clubs (26 teams in total). U18 and over SFC is in PL1 and WSW in PL2.
That's pretty much it. There used to be FNSW Institute (canned) and State Titles (canned).

Great to see NT 18 year old graduate getting a bench spot with Central Coasts A-League team ( and NT getting a mention in Fox’s telecast) - played for the green & whites since u11s, went to Central Coast Mariners Academy this year playing 1st grade in NPL2 and now given a spot in the pro league. Well done Mariners for providing a path. Appears to be the better pathway to A-League out of the 3 NSW HAL clubs.
Woohoo!

Didn't someone say it was canned?? If its still going, I thought the idea was that TD's and opposing coaches score players each game. Consistent high performers are invited to attend TSP. Term by term program, so players may move in and out. 4 teams per age group. Set up in zones - N, S, E, W

Hello, I am trying to get my head around potential pathways for junior players in NSW. For kids playing in the SAP league in U10s, what are their options from u12s onwards? I am aware of the Premier League 1 and 2 leagues from U12s. However, what are the other options? Skillaroos? Football NSW Institute teams? State sides? Neither the FFA or Football NSW seem to make their pathways very clear on their websites and other publications. If anyone could let me know that would be great. For more details: Business Solution MarketingIs TSP back on??

More mess, what a joke!

Of course there is another more common pathway. Become a sponsor of the club. Pander to the club officials. Treat the coaches like gods. Complement all the players of the parents who are connected. Support the coach and manager of the team even though they may be a pair of muppets. Push hard behind the scenes for your child to become the captain then act humble when they get the job. Please feel free to add to my list.

TSP started last night, first round of selections were supposed to be (and I say supposed to be quite loosely) based on State teams and state titles teams. However some of the coaches and selectors are also parents so I guess the sons are automatically included LOL . Lots of kids out there, possession & game was training. Some kids will be missing their own club training to attend these sessions. Hope they are worth while. Not sure where this path is heading ?? What happens after 16's ? Thoughts ?
