You're right Cat. Trevor Morgan and the squad have developed over the tournament. We conceded early in this game from a defensive error that was finished well by their striker. From there we conlove of my lifeed the game, combining well in midfield. The flanks we well marshalled by their pacy backs, so we couldn't really get past them there. Our first goal was a well taken header, from a set play. I still say we should work on aerial development. (Not one page in the curriculum.) The 2nd was a fast transition after we won the ball in the final third, after effective pressing, and a great first time strike, left the Indo keeper well beaten. The third was a peach by Noah, who was played in after we won the ball on the halfway. He ran with the ball, turned his defender inside out to create space, and finished beautifully in the far corner, to lead 3-1 with 15 to go. They scored a consolation in the last minute. It's interesting to see some of the other teams, and how they have developed. Larger nations such as Indo and India, who have a youth budget that far exceeds ours, have done well this tournament. They have always had large playing pools, but I know for a fact that they, along with others are now spending a lot of cash on coaches, sports scientists, and infrastructure for their youth teams. I suggest that these two, along with a few others, will continue to improve at youth level. Ofcourse that doesn't necessarily translate to senior football, but it's a decent start.

Trevor Morgan can’t coach prem 3, so what can anyone expect from him at this level other than embarrassment. How on earth do these so called coaches get gig’s at this level.

Well I have vented my frustration at the system in this country for a while now and I can't believe we keep doing the same thing expecting to get a different result. Last night I stayed up and watched how the new and unproven Macathur A League coach was going to go, well I wasn't surprised at the outcome but was wondering how we keep putting coach's that have absolutely NO Credentials into Major rolls and hope we get a different outcome. Seriously FFA needs a clean out as does FNSW and Football in general. This mates club must stop. We are so far behind the rest of the world I am happy to put money on that we won't even qualify for the next world cup and no one at the top gives a toss !!!

Dyslexic's Untie They get jobs as its a boys club, this is why no AUSTRALIAN coaches get appointed at big clubs overseas. Poppa tried and failed, how is Ange doing in Japan, rate me one Australian coach in the A - League, our league is crap and it shows in AFC

tone75, Well, I rate myself as a great coach. My team's moto was " if we can't beat them, bash them !" My U/8s had no problem with that.

For the last few days i Have been watching our U15's as a mates son is in the Squad and as Usual been disappointed. Cambodia were Average at best but i did Think Laos played better than Aust but physically weren't in the game. Then we come to Malaysia and the (Again) Un Proven and never struck a blow for anything Trevor Morgan put's his strongest team on the Park and we are out played, out Enthused and beaten where it count. On the Score board. Now all the players have GPS trackers, the squad has full Performance Analysts and 8 F'n Coach hangers on. When is FFA going to get it's head out of the sand and wake up!!!! All those players will now be looked at as basic over in Europe because we can't beet Low Level Nations!! It's a Disgrace. I know of 4 High level Euro Coach's that would and have applied to take National teams or and been told no we have the people in place. What a Joke!!!

It was a joke, it shows how backwards we are going, all these PE teacher coaches getting these gigs. Give it to real coaches that coach the non FFA curriculum way. They say that the 15's team picked was the weakest ever in green and gold except for a couple of players.
