I think that friend Saba had a serious attitude issue. Maybe he can find solace in the Belgian 4th tier. Not quite but second tier Dutch Dyslexics Untie His 5th club since leaving the Wanderers. Still time to cross the border.

The game here is just starting to move forward. The standard isn't up there with the better and much older competitions around the world but it's ahead of others. The constant criticisms by all and sundry has become boring as some of the critics keep saying the same old garbage week in week out. We know the standard isn't the best and yes we have a way to go but at least we are going.

It doesn't help when some of the fields around the country are rugby and cricket donkey patches either. During one game last week the grass was lifting as the players were trying to pull up. We are 3 or 4th in line in this country as far as sport is concerned.

That's his opinion and he is entitled to it. It doesn't mean it's right though.

I'm wondering if and when the big stadiums are going to install artificial turf. Can AFL and the rugby codes play on it ?

Sydney are playing 24hrs after an eggball game this Friday and it will be wet when the eggball is playing on it what a disgrace And the solution is? A) Ban one of the sports B) Spend $100m on a stadium for a dozen games per year C) Get over it because our football pitches are the least of our problems

The standard of the A-League isn't great but the bad fields do affect the game.

And just because the criticism is boring, doesn't make it wrong and not worth listening to.

Fields are crap simply because football standard is crap.
Never will Australia become a strong football nation like those in Europe and Sth America.
To quote the movie The Castle, tell em their dreaming.
