It's good to see that there are other mature adults on this forum.

alpha, Well, justify $3500.00 for the B licence. Tell me what you get and I'll see if it's worth it. You get a tracksuit, photo on fnsw web page a lot more cone placement drills, a reason as to why more cones are better and still no understanding as to what the drills address in a game situation. Italy C licence is Free 12 month course you coach a junior team and assist a A licence coach in a senior team who assess you and passes you. B licence Free (club pays €400 for 12 month course) you coach U16,17,19 and assist A licence first team coach who assess you. So all in all Australia is able to fast track this which is a good thing. You can fast track it here also but you wouldn't coach in italy but can coach in other countries. Dyslexics Untie

This is true as a A,B or C licenced UAFA coach needs to do an Australian upgrade or conversion for it to be used 😂

the problem is not only paying, it is then getting a club to actually perceive you as a professional coach and treat you like one, thats the main difference to Europe.

The reason licenses are free in Italy is the country is in such a financial mess that no one can afford to pay. Nice place to visit though. 😉

I couldn't care less if it was AAAAAAAAAA. What's the point when electricity, gas, fuel, taxes, cost of homes etc are through the roof. The politicians can take their AAA and shove it for all I care.

Dear Mr tarzan,
Thank's to you he has fainted and fallen out of his chair. We are now trying to revive him but he keeps repeating " someone called me a pom " and then his eyes roll back into his head and he faints again.
What have you done ?

What are coaches worth? Both SAP & Youth and who thinks clubs value them? Time to stir the pot, remember player rego fees are $1500 - $2500

Some coaches are worth thousands and some are worth $2.50 on a good day. It takes more than paying money and getting accredited to be a coach.

On a serious note. From what i can remember
If you have C licence youth you can coach elite level in any FFA/AFC confederation team from 8-17yrs old. B licence you can coach the above plus 1st grade NPL A licence all of the above and TD for NPL & representative teams Pro Licence= A league
It still is expensive and im not expecting to pay peanuts either, however any other similar accreditation internationally is much cheaper by a long way. I know in Germany they actually subsidise your accreditation.
The day our governing body FFA works from a top down structure will be the day all these costs will be reduced..but that day is infinite
