There is talk Of Timmy returning to the A League in the near future with Melbourne City being the possible Club. Not many Socceroos have returned home and been a success with many losing their star status. It will certainly be interesting to see what happens with Cahill.

Which ever team he plays for, the coach is finished. Big cheque = big ego.

Well Timmy has returned and the money was right in more ways then one that he would go to Melbourne City. Disappointed that our Sydney boy decided to head south of the border...

Disappointed that he didn't do it for a nominal fee, given that he has a decent supply of folding stuff already, and put something back into the game.

Why should he put anything back to the game.Football in Australia is pay for your own rego and private training so he owes nothing to Australian football.

And given his status within the game, would have been a good opportunity for someone the start changing that! How many seriously good players are lost annually because mum and dad don't own a bank??

So the A-League finally showed him "the Vision" in the form of a big fat chq? Very easy on the eyes!

He's had several chances to come back and give something back to the game. Promoting your own academy to make more money out of families doesn't count for me. Great player but lost a bit of respect for him in the last few years.

Ok he admits it was about the money .Does it change anything ? I suppose it makes everyone on here feel better.Should Tim care NO, does he care NO. Just get on with your lives and everybody do what suits there family.
