racingem,
The only thing bigger than his bank account is his ego. Highly overrated in my opinion.

racingem, The only thing bigger than his bank account is his ego. Highly overrated in my opinion. Interesting point u make about being overrated? Can you explain why T.C is highly overrated? We can discuss his monetary ambitions and squeezing every last dollar but to call him highly overrated...WOW! Take opinion and passion aside, T.C has been one of the best players this country has ever had. I'm being mindful of using the word PRODUCED as he learnt and improved his craft at a young age overseas like most of our kids...

At face value a fit Tim Cahill will be an asset to the A League. He's a media darling and the game needs all the exposure it can get in Main Stream Media. City's pitiful crowds should increase and away attendances should also get a lift. However, one aspect that FFA/City need to be wary of is the impression that City are getting preferential treatment in the same way that the GWS Giants are in AFL which is alienating followers of the other clubs.

obiwan,
He's good but not as good as some say. You are comparing him to our standard. He also has a poor attitude towards his fellow team mates at times.

I guess i'll agree to disagree on that one directfk.
I take your point when you refer to 'Our Standard' but surely you would acknowledge he's one of the top 5 footballers to come out of this country? not sure where your information regarding poor attitude comes from though.
