By the way, watch the offers come in for Poppa now. Crystal Palace would love him back I'm sure. As possibly the only Crystal Palace supporter in this forum (if there are others, now would be a good time to pipe up), I am actually quite unsure about Popovich managing Palace given his lack of experience in the premier league full stop. That is not to say he couldn't do it, but I would think it would be unlikely that he is given the opportunity. I would think it makes him an excellent candidate for the next manager of Australia, but managing Palace is a completely different kettle of fish. I don't know the stats, but I suspect the EPL and other major European leagues have not taken one manager who was won an Asian Champions League, there are too many risks involved with such a move and it would only be taken by a team already in trouble. If Poppa did get a gig with a championship team and proves his worth, then it may well be a different KOF, but even that will be a big move from an English team. I agree, I'm sure the you're the only Palace supporter in Australia, let alone the forum. Poppa was assistant coach, hence he has form.

WSW: Champions of Asia and bottom of the A League.
And we're top. Classy performance today, best we've looked for a long while.

True...fifteen months he was there, sadly the manager he worked with at the time, Dougie Freedman, has since moved onto much worse things at Bolton Wanderers and subsequently been sacked. Irrespective, whilst there has been some media chat about him taking up the manager's role, it will be a stretch to actually see him appointed, but you never know your luck in a big city. If he isn't the next Australian manager, my guess is that Japan or the Middle East is his most likely next destination.

I can't see Ange losing the national role. I'd put him on a per with Poppa.

Ange Posta is a good coach. He needs more time. The best coach in the A-League is Kevin Muscat hands down !

Talking of grubs, waiting to see the penalty handed out to that filthy grub in the ACL Final, spitting at Spiranovic. Anything less than 8 weeks is an outrage, but let's see.........

stepover, he deserves 1 year plus. What a about the bloke that pushed the referee after the no penalty decision, when the keeper took him out. He should get 5 years. Mind you, that was a penalty for sure.
