Suspect I could be about the only PG supporter here, so I will respond. If the FFA is satisfied that the rules have been broken, then fair enough and the penalty is fair if it was in fact a willful breach. Not sure where that leaves Gallop, given this is the second time he has overseen a competition where this has happened, but at least it was "discovered" faster this time.
As for me, after Blacktown Spartans and Balmain U16 girls, my next team is now Wellington Phoenix for the balance of this season, as I detest all other Australian teams.
Go Nix!

Breach is a breach is a breach = cheating!

enmorecat,
What's it got to do with Gallop, it's not his fault. No one can control that. He punishes the clubs and that shows good leadership and guts. Just like he nailed the Storm in the NRL.

I didn't say it was his fault Kookaburra, merely an observation. And Tarzan, short of seeing the evidence, for me it's still an "if", as the Perth Glory CEO still seems to maintain there has been no breach. I assume the FFA has taken good advice on this, but one doesn't have to trawl too deep into this forum to find decisions that have been made by domestic football authorities that have been questioned and identified as being poor. Anyway, time to move on, it has probably spared me grief in the finals anyway.

The Perth CEO didn't say that...he said he wants to sit down with the FFA to see if they can sort something out. He very deliberately did not deny there was a breach. It's the penalty and outcomes he wants to discuss. 15% over the cap and Six players involved and a number of managers. Gallop provided a very strong message that those running the club may well be denied any further future in the A-League. On this one it is very clear there is a strong evidence.......and yes the USA did land on the moon in the 60s, it's true even though you don't get to see all the evidence Must be a lot of things you don't believe in if you have to see the evidence yourself first??

I heard something different on the radio, clearly misreported. I just read the FFA's press release and also Perth's response and you are right, Perth was hoping to do a deal, but that seems impossible given what has been identified. As for the moon landing, surely 25 million North Koreans can't be wrong? ?

I f what you say here is true...I take back my comment about deducting points next year...it seems that the punishment dished out is appropriate then...
