It would worry me more if I was a WSW supporter. Not fussed......we've had our 'Season 1' two years late.......in the meantime we've won the Asian Champions League....minor premiers and two Grand Finals....I think that's a fair return so far....we'll come back stronger..some good youth players coming through...not all doom and gloom

Oh ye, I forgot. Do you think Poppa will be kept on after this season ?
PS, The Blues have won Grand Finals. The Wanderers have won 0.

Wanderers have never been a big scoring side, just this season has been even worse .... Brisbane hired a new striker, so maybe they are onto something. Kooka - it was all a bit surreal to get into the grand final on the first attempt, it would have seemed to easy to win first season in, but to swing to winning none is rediculous...

hurricane,
The Wanderers lifted the entire A-League to another level in regards to crowds and the excitement. I just like stirring mary up, but don't tell her. ( if it's a her ).

Broich is the best player I have seen in the A-league so far. He has everything, passing, shooting, reads the game, leads by example.

Broich was a product of Germany, who would you suggest is the best Australian grown player (present and past if you like)?

Cahill I suppose but I remember Warren, Wilson, Katholos and some where I have forgotten their names. Many of these old stars would have been world class with the modern training methods. I reckon all of them worked full time and football was 2nd to them in terms of responsibilities. There's too many.
Without a shadow of a doubt, Muscat was the biggest butcher we have produced so far.

Cahill's record is phenomenal and as such undeniably places him there or there abouts. Notable mentions must go to Viduka, Zelic, Kewell, Okon, Schwarzer, Krncevic and Slater(?? only Australian to ever win EPL - was on fire against Argentina 1993.
At one stage in 2014 World Cup Cahill was in a limited group of people that have scored goals in 3 World Cups.
Furthermore after the Netherlands game, Cahill had scored more goals in World Cups than Rooney, Messi and Ronaldo(CR7) put together. Messi during the course of the tournament added more to his card and this stat. blew out.

Didn't Bosnich win the EPL as well ?
There has been plenty of good players that have come and gone. The hard part is getting most of them on the field at the same time to form a great team. This squad is competitive but with a couple more stronger players added we would be very good.
