There is going to be 1-2 smashed egos of dads whose nswis boys missed out on selection for frendly games on 10 & 12 april against Japan. Specially when sydney club kids have taken there super stars place in the team. I can see them crying right now.

Just goes to show that selection for NSWIS/State teams etc is all very subjective. You do not need to be a member to be a good player and you can create your own pathway!

I think he means NSW PYL players Artie. Just heard that AB won't be taking part due to injury which is a shame for the lad.
Nevermind, there will be plenty of opportunities down the track for this talented keeper.

NSWIS coach Jean Paul de Marigny was delighted with the progress a number of his current NSWIS squad members who were selected for the U17’s in their preparations for their friendly clashes against Japan on the 10th and 12th of April.
“It’s been a long process, four years in fact for a number of these boys, but I am pleased that they have been recognised at a national level.
“We at the NSWIS identify them with a network of our coaches as well as the assistance of coaches from clubs in NSW in working with them with the overall outcome of developing them into future Socceroos stars.”
Football NSW wishes the boys all the best with their commitments with the U17 Joeys.
