A recent post on Spartans Facebook alludes to the fact Spartans has been chosen to participate in a concussion study by a student at the University of New England .Perhaps the student is aware of some of the recent decisions made by all involved at Spartans and believes that these decisions have all the hallmarks of people suffering from concussion 🤕.All joking aside these are serious issues however I don’t believe this is something an amateur club should be involved in , important as it is this is for clubs who have the relevant medical backup and expertise and recording procedures in place. My opinion only.

Wow.... couldn't disagree more.
Sydney Uni wants to study a serious issue affecting footballers and you don't want clubs to help??? Where are the universities expected to get the data so that they can provide information to help us?
And it is important that they can see if there are any different issues affecting amateur clubs as opposed to professional clubs (in fact, this is vitally important as the amateurs don't have the same level of medical advice). Well done Spartans.

Maybe concussion is rife within our ranks as it is The University of New England who are proposing the study I rest my case.

Apparently they get most of their info from their number one customer....umm ahh China
