I wonder if it will come across as being too white privileged if I wave an Aussie flag at a Northern Aussies game?

Under the new rules seemingly "anything goes".

Under the new rules seemingly "anything goes". And there are no rules, just âguidelinesâ.....

Didn't really think there is a need for this. If you can't figure out the heritage of many of these clubs then jeez! Think this will just open the door for drama and it's just another attempt to try and raise interest in football...unfortunately me thinks this will just attract the wrong interest, and then FFA can say "told you so" and revert....

I get the clubs heritage but doesnt one move on from having to wave patriotic flags etc.. It's a funny league the NPL compared to overseas clubs who dont have the same principals about ethnicity. I get how some clubs were forced to change with NCIP, however do we want to go back to the old days of Croatians vs Serbians or Macedonians vs Greeks?
Just opening up another pandoras box for troubles, but maybe thats what the governing bodies really want? And the NSL was a great league for younger players to thrive in, it was just poorly run towards the end.

I think itâs the FFAâs way of starting to step back from being the moral compass for the country and letting the various state and national laws decide instead. Itâs their job to administer football, not to make sure little flags are taped up on jerseys.

Broadly speaking maybe, but thereâs a reason why the ethnic clubs in the npl generally splash more on players, theyâve got more sponsorship $ from patriotic sponsors. So you might find sponsorship may actually increase for these clubs if they went the more nationalistic route...

I loved the NSL but forget it now. There's no way it would work but I do think it's time for a transgender league. I nominate tarzan for President.
