Can any one shed some light into this please, years ago you could not sign or trial any player before a 2 week period in October, now teams are registering players well before the season is over, and taking payment for next year rego. WTF is going on in the junior levels? Ever since Sydney and the Wanderers came onto the seen it looks like its a free for all.... Can any one else see this

I agree with you nemesis. Slight correction though, you can't actually register a player until the registration database is open. You can take their money et al, but not actually register. Clubs take the money to lock players in and get them to complete an MOU. Standard clause nowadays is "NO REFUNDS".

October trial period may only have 1 or 2 playing positions left as most teams will be practically full. Informal trials are happening now

And then I see this "Football NSW Payment website page" payments.footballnsw.com.au/ and makes me very sad ;( Must applaud to the web admin by integrating "the sorting" option. No money no play, simple like that! However, they will ask for "development compensation fees" when you're requesting an ITC.

How many players have missed training with their clubs due to "school camps" over the last 4 or 5 weeks only to be seen training or trialing with other clubs.
