www.smh.com.au/sport/soccer/to-russia-with-love-arzani-the-beating-young-heart-of-socceroos-20180608-p4zk7i.htmlI didn't watch much A League this season, but did hear a lot about him. Having watched him against Hungary it's clear he has something to offer that we haven't seen enough of at this level. I did like this quote from the article: "That confidence was later mistaken as arrogance by others. He joined Sydney FC but lasted only one season, sources suggesting he was cut short having being deemed a tactical liability. He was a smart kid but far less obedient than those who spent their lives following orders in academies that adhered to Football Federation Australia's national football curriculum. He had a relentless penchant to dribble and play to his own captivating technical strengths irrespective of the tactical set-up. By the end, he was thought to be "uncoachable" by the Sky Blues and said to have an attitude problem." Assuming he continues to develop after the World Cup, will Arnold actually pick him?

DA is a maverick. I like it. We have enough robots.

Arnold pick him? No, he'll be competing against Matt Simon

Arnold has trouble picking his nose. One of the most overrated coaches the A-league has seen.
This young bloke needs time to establish himself. Time will tell what he can do and how good he will turn out to be. So far I like what I see.

I didn't like him chewing gum while competing for Australia in his debut. Tells me that's lack of manners or care for the way he represents himself and his country. A player might be unbelievable.... But with a kiss attitude.... I don't know... Time will tell

But with a kiss attitude.... I don't know... Time will tell Serious? So I'm guessing you don't like C Ronaldo, Pogba, Ibra, Neymar, Peel, Maradonna, Ronaldinho and the long line of great players. The reason they are better than others is often because of their confidence & attitude.

I'd be interested to hear what the "contributions" Abrams made were? Been hiding for 4 years.

Abrams was just riding out his contract. It is no secret that he didn't have the respect of the State Federations who have all been doing their own thing. Such a waste of money.

We know him. He came up through the FFA Skilaroos and AIS which is the system you say he couldn't conform to. He did just that.
Yes, he got some lucky breaks. Many just as good that don't but that's life.
Good on the young lad for getting the break. My fear for him is the way he has been pushed into the limelight. This may allow him to fall hard with everyone having a so called opinion on him.
He's been given a break and thus we all should too. What he does with it now is his choice.
He's a good kid who believes in himself. Nothing wrong with that

Luck plays a big part of any elite footballer's career. Skill and drive is a given but suffer a serious injury, especially in the lower leg region and it's over.
