Selections, poor standard of coaching, failed so called development system = troubled times ahead. Now people are asking for a second division. So who pays for this? Let me guess? ? The 2nd division will be full over "ex players". NSL clubs wont give a shite about youngsters.

My son missed out on the squad so the whole system sucks now! All jokes aside some new faces for the upcoming 15's and some decent kids overlooked again.

For the last few days i Have been watching our U15's as a mates son is in the Squad and as Usual been disappointed. Cambodia were Average at best but i did Think Laos played better than Aust but physically weren't in the game. Then we come to Malaysia and the (Again) Un Proven and never struck a blow for anything Trevor Morgan put's his strongest team on the Park and we are out played, out Enthused and beaten where it count. On the Score board. Now all the players have GPS trackers, the squad has full Performance Analysts and 8 F'n Coach hangers on. When is FFA going to get it's head out of the sand and wake up!!!! All those players will now be looked at as basic over in Europe because we can't beet Low Level Nations!! It's a Disgrace. I know of 4 High level Euro Coach's that would and have applied to take National teams or and been told no we have the people in place. What a Joke!!! It was a joke, it shows how backwards we are going, all these PE teacher coaches getting these gigs. Give it to real coaches that coach the non FFA curriculum way. They say that the 15's team picked was the weakest ever in green and gold except for a couple of players. very interesting opinion, it seems all teams all over the world have this problem....hmm

One may like to check out Westfields SHS U15 Bill Turner Cup results before giving them a boarding pass...not convincing... Coach Education has let our Junior players down as technically our players are not at an international standard...count how many times a coach yells out Unlucky at training or at games... Unlucky or poor technique I don't understand your point?? They haven't lost a game this year! www.billturnersoccer.com.au/cup-info/btcfinal-32-draw/Schools who dont have recognised FFA programs have taken WSHS to extra time and penalties!

Was there a player from Newcastle Jets or the ACT in any of the young Socceroos teams?

Schools who dont have recognised FFA programs have taken WSHS to extra time and penalties! Let me guess WSHS spent most of the game passing between defenders in their own half? 80% possession!

Possibly because they're not schools? Plenty of other schools out there doing their bit...in various ways. Playing style is the issue I raise too many of our elite teams are obsessed with possession over scoring goals - team focussed rather than individual focussed. Elite academies need to put greater emphasis on individual play...

Forgive my ignorance - can anybody tell me why we don't seem to have a 'Joeys' team at other age groups? I see U15's and U17's. Don't they have these overseas? Cheers..

I have just had another look and there is a notable absence..Also a few inclusions from the western area of Sydney, I presume they attend a certain school.

Players will always miss out, regardless even in mature leagues such German, Brazil, etc etc, it seems we are so precious in Oz for players who missed the boat, hard luck thats football.
