I wish certain womens coaches at a renowned PL1 club in Sydney's west would read this as screaming, spewing spit and belittling players in front of team mates is now becoming the order of the day during training. This is in spite of conflicting instructions given to some players by other coaching staff. It wont be too long before this manifests itself during games the way things are panning out. Promises of fame and fortune will continue to occur in team sports across the world, however the real stars of sport take up athletics, golf, swimming, tennis but to name a few. No hiding in these sports if one is not up to it. Juniors are subjected to winning, losing at an early age such as times ran or swim to qualify or tournaments to compete in where matches need to be won to progress. So what happens with football, we protect the juniors from the disappointment of rejection, defeat and out and out uselessness by making competitions non competitive. I read all this rubbish about development yet nobody tastes defeat until they are almost a teenager. Keep living in your bubble FFA, you have NFI. Winning isn't everything, it's the only thing!!! Nobody remembers who ran second. Here endeth the lesson.

It's hard to be a winning coach without winning players.
