Just thought I would open up a thread so people who have signed up to a club can get an idea, and those who are still thinking can decide.
Who is charging what for fees this season?

Dangerous ground Admin!
Clubs may not be very happy having their fees "revealed" by the players or parents...
Anyway, the amount is quite relative: what may appear to be either cheap or expensive may not be so, either way, given what the players get for it...

How much do you earn per year RR?
By the way, I am not worried about comparisons either; I just think that it is just a club's business what they think is a fair price given their individual circumstances.

Since when does the earnings of an individual relate to how much a futsal club charges? See, I sure many believe every club should disclose how much they charge and the breakdown! It's called transparency. To be totally truthful, all this information should be provided up front to parents/players so they can make an informed decision as to whether or not to take a position at a club if selected. Wouldn't the information disclosed for a fee charge constitute a "binding contract" that the club will have live up on their end of the deal? Two way street, the clubs can't promise so much and not deliver upon it. It's not all about a $$$$$ grab or is it. Show some guts and disclose it, if nothing is out of the ordinary.

I reckon a couple of grand per season is reasonable. No sibling discounts either

RR my point is, you don't tell EVERYONE how much you earn, or charge your clients, so why should clubs tell EVERYONE what their fees are in a public forum?
If you want to know how much Dural charges, just come out and try out: we tell every player, or their parent, BEFORE they set foot on the court.

VOR, I draw your attention to your post below, dated June 27. Your club/you feels it is good enough to use the "public" forum as a tool to promote ones trials, so why not provide all the information or at a minumum list it on your own web site, so people can make an informed decision before driving there. Can't have it both ways when it comes to what the forum is to be used for! rr the trouble with trying to set out fees is there is great variables, eg different venues different price. some charge in fees practice court fees some pay as they go. some have acadameys that will be subsidied. clothing cost are different, number of players at the club/ 10players per team compared to 8 per team lowers cost, some have presentation night included in fees some don't, etc etc etc hope that helps

Just out of curiosity, do FNSW place a cap on Futsal fees like they do with outdoor?

Any well run club would go into a Futsal/Outdoor season with a business plan. My feeling is by saying how much, clubs feel they may frightened potential trialists off. Not senior trialist in any case, as seniors don't pay.

RR, I told you: you come to the trials and I will tell you the cost of playing the season... Is that hard to understand? I don't care what other clubs charge, and if I was looking for a club I would contact the club directly. Call me weird or old fashion, but I do not think that it is appropriate to be asking players to divulge a club's fee structure on a public forum.
"Seniors don't pay" That is exactly the point I am making RR; you just made a statement that, unless you have rung every club in Premier and State League, it is just an assumption. What's stopping people from putting out wrong info, other on purpose or otherwise?
Having said all that, if this is the biggest issue with Futsal nowadays the sport must be doing really well...

VOR, So you use to the forum to announce your trials, yet the forum is good enough to tell people how much bang they get for their buck. Transparency is a major issue with everything in life!

RR, transparency by all means.
If the CLUBS want to announce their fees in a public forum: go for it!
But to ask people to tell how much they are paying, to me not a wise move... because once it finds its way into a forum it has the tendency to take the shape of "truth" just as your assumption re senior players could...
