Mumbler, for some the place where their kids are training can be a big decider on whether or not they trial or even consider it. Some just can't do the travel. No biggie really. Maybe I'm different, but if I want my kid to play and it says to ring, I would ring and find out that way. Which is what the rest of the players in the teams have done. It isn't a secret where we train, but I don't see any other Clubs putting up where they train? They expect you to ask when you ring for information, along with other stuff parents ask likes fees, how many players are in a squad etc. Anyway it's out there now, and Yes I agree it would be important to some parents, so if you're interested please give me a ring :-)

Don't take them all, GWS Vikings are still looking for a full team. U12 Futsal girls are a scarce resource and need to be shared around.

Interesting to see why a few clubs are struggling to find 12 Girls. Any thoughts?

Interesting to see why a few clubs are struggling to find 12 Girls. Any thoughts? It is a bit of a mystery isn't it? It's not like its just State League struggling. Quite a few of the Premier League Clubs are also advertising for 12 girls. I find that once they come to a training session they absolutely love Futsal. It's just attracting them and getting them there in the first place. If I had any spares I would be glad to share them around GSW. I just want to see as many as we can get playing Futsal somewhere. What do you think the reason for the shortage is VOR?

I am not sure, we're ok for numbers this season but it was not always the case; our coach, Lyndon, does a lot of work with 9/10 y.o. and then they seem to filter through...

Yes, that could be the key, I think.
All going well I would like to have an Academy team for the 8 to 10 year old girls next season.
This season I would just like to find a few 11 and 12 year old girls, lol, There seem to be a few others in the same boat.
Nil Desperandum :-)

So are all teams full and finished now? All but 1 for the eagles. Sydney City Eagles are almost ready to kick-off their State League Season. Our girls teams have been training and playing trial games, over the last few weeks, and are looking good. Eagles 12 girls team is looking for 2 to 3 more court players....preferably 11 or 12 years old. We already have a great team, who are having fun playing futsal, and we just need the right players to complete the picture. It doesn't matter how much experience you have, as Head Women's coach Kerry Conquest, is in charge of the team, and committed to improving each player. Eagles only has small squads, which ensures every player gets plenty of court time, and they will not be warming the bench. Players get to play at Eagles! The Club also has a number of recent State Team coaches on board, ready to nurture any budding futsal stars, and to help them become the players they aspire to be. If you would like to fly high with the Eagles please ring Kerry on 0414 889938, for a confidential chat, and more information about our 12 girls team.
