Heard it was quite hot out there today!! Not the best choice by FNSW (is it a money thing) because I think the players deserve better to small Also abit of a joke as to many girls on such a small court !! How the hell do the coaches choose which which is which Anyway one can only say goodluck to everyone

With less teams than normal ,more girls to miss out ,why are the girls who always second rate to FNSW when there the same amount playing futsal and the reason there is no youth women in competition is because FNSW won't open that age group to the girls. Parents wonder why there daughters give up its, because there is no support from the people who continue to take there fees .We need to stand together to fix this one maybe under 17s or youth women

George, I agree that we should have Youth Women's in Premier and Super League. Unless you get a Club that is willing to take 17 year olds, this is the time that those moving out of 16s, walk away from Futsal. We shouldn't be saying that there aren't enough girls to have that age group. We should be insisting that it is there for all who don't want to sit out a couple of years between 16s and Women. I'm all for it :-)

Talk of a Youth Women comp has been around for years but do we have enough players for an additional team at each club, perhaps 120-150 players across 2 divisions. Frequently ladies teams rely on U/16s to back up week after week so this would only get worse with the addition of Youth women.
Basically Premier league clubs would probably benefit from this move at the expense of Super League clubs as many girls who are too old for 16s and can't get a place with their club's ladies team look for a Super league club to play with at the moment.

I heard there wasn't enough turned up for youth women. Have the previous years trials and selections deterred girls in that age group?

There was at least 22 players trialling for youth women, more than the open women

Why are there some unhappy 16's?
Is it because successful players are only being notified and unsuccessful players are not?
What about other age groups?

What about other age groups? fair point tango I don't understand all the fuss about the 16s in particular There will be both happy and disappointed people in every age group when they receive their emails The selectors/coaches make the decisions be they right or wrong - end of story !
