Fortune favours the brave TTL and with 2 central defenders out, 2 strikers and 6 other players missing i thought we were good for the win! ;D ;D ;D Rumourmill, another year goes by and Villa still can't win at Old Trafford!! Enjoy the beer and say a big "Hello" to all the Villa fans!!!

Reaper, I have a couple of very happy boys in our house. The eldest got up to watch the game, and went to bed early thinking they were losing again, so I was very popular this morning when I gave him the news. I have to concede that Man U can pull it together when it comes to crunch time. I don't think anyone would think they could win with so many players out.

All you Man U supporters geting carried away with a win. It was against Villa, the same team the mighty Liverpool thrashed 4-0. Even Reaper has been very quiet to his normal standards!!!

This is the run home both sides have in the chase for the title.
Liverpool
Blackburn Arsenal Hull Newcastle Westham WBA Tottenham
Manchester United
Sunderland Portmouth x2 Tottenham Midlesbrough Wigan Arsenal Hull
On paper the crunch game for both teams is the Arsenal fixture!!!

TTL cant believe you got the score wrong , it was 5
Reaper , 2 things out of the game for me were , the fact Agbonlahor traped the ball on more than 1 occasion , and why is it Martin O'neil will never use his younger players or bench for that matter . Unlike Fergy he wont take a gamble and put the fresh legs on . We put on Reo Choker to mark Ronaldo . 2 1 up with 15 to go and the only bloke still running is Barry , with 6 pairs of fresh legs on the bench . We had as much on the line as United , if they want to take 4th spot. Just disappointing .

I think you just pointed out why Villa don't win and why Fergie is still the best manager in the World. If you don't take chances sometimes you can't blame bad luck as the reason why you fail. I suppose that's one of Fergies strengths.......he takes the risks.

The status quo remains !!! Liverpool much improved effort for 4-0 win over Blackburn, while Man U struggled against a tenaciuos Sunderland but getting the points with a 2-1 win.Chelsea in the end were lucky to gain all points. Leading 4-0 with 20 odd minutes to play, they conceded 3 late goals and Bolton went extremely close on 2 more occasions which would have given them a draw. Man U still very much in the box seat !!!
