I agree totally. Especially with academy girls they should mix all 3 comps so at least they are playing every week. Last years draw was a joke with at times a 4 week gap between games. Thommo the 11/12 Girls comp wasn't compulsory to field a team. It was the first time it had ever been run. If your club was pro active they couldve made calls to other clubs who didnt have games and found an opponent. I think you'll findalmost every club will have an 11/12 Girls team this season. Did Boomerangs have one last season in PL2?? Does anyone know?? Iswam in regards to your comment about 11/12 girls. I sent out email after email in particular P1 clubs ( you included) and from all the clubs I got Zero response which was very disappointing. I then had to source outdoor players to make up teams just so our girls had a game, or else in total they would have only had 6 games. To answer your question, Last season Boomerangs did not have a girls team

I thought Womens Football has the fasting growing participation/numbers in any sport in NSW........ There are plenty of girls to go around. Clubs just need to be proactive rather than wait and see at trials. While thus is true....there are many people out there who baulk at the cost of the registration fees. Sent from my SM-G900I using proboards Wheelie, I hope this post of yours is not going to take us on the wonderful journey of extortion again...

It wouldn't matter when trials are held for womens/girls there simply isn't enough interested players to go round without clubs needing double and triple up players in teams. I thought Womens Football has the fasting growing participation/numbers in any sport in NSW........ There are plenty of girls to go around. Clubs just need to be proactive rather than wait and see at trials. iswam promotes, markets and provides excellent information on Magic, however many other clubs that struggle year in and year out only have themselves to blame for sitting on arrsess and hoping all comes knocking on their front door. Some people, good intentions they may have, really have NFI when it comes to getting the message out there. Kill or be killed...

I apologise for not replying if you did send it, but I cant re call receiving one. You have my facebook, if you ever need anything shoot me through a message on there. The issue some clubs face is as an example we play Enfield at VSP, ER dont have an 11/12s team. SCE play against a club who also dont have an 11/12 team but are playing at Riverwood, the chances of a club travelling to play a "home game" game are almost non existent. In some instances that may be the case, but our coach also did the 13g so it was almost impossible to split the club.

I had the court book and paid for so it was going to be no cost to other clubs, but the lack of courtesy from all other clubs to reply was what dissapointed me most. For the record Matty, I did message you on Facebook ?

Vipers are having their first trial for girls on June 25. How is it that there is a state league club having trials on June 24? Are you talking about Western Wolves? Yes I am

I think if they can get or develop the right players, they will do okay. They are certainly getting word of the club out there. I am sure it was PB doing a radio interview the other day.

The Sydney City Eagles Futsal Club are very excited to announce our return to the local area. Our home for the 2016/17 futsal season will be the newly built Michael Clarke Recreational Centre located at 2 Margaret Dawson Drive Carnes Hill.
The Sydney City Eagles Futsal Club was founded 20 years ago by Roy Perre, owner of the original "Eagles Nest" - Fairfield Indoor Sports Centre based in Bonnyrigg.
Since the sale of the Bonnyrigg building back in 2003, the eagles have been out in the "wilderness" due to a lack of facilities in the area that could meet the requirements to compete in the Football NSW Futsal Premier League. Now, however, we are coming home.
The Michael Clarke Recreation Centre, which will open on 30th July, is Liverpool City’s newest sports and leisure centre, featuring a state-of-the-art health club, indoor sports stadium, outdoor sports courts, kiosk and crèche.
The centre will be running mid week Futsal competitions commencing around September, so keep an eye out and register your team to avoid missing out on this fast and exciting game.
The Sydney City Eagles will host 12 teams of representative players for the 2016/17 Futsal Premier League 2 season which kicks off mid October.
*Development Boys (9-11yrs) *Development Girls (9-12yrs) *AWD ( Athletes with Disabilities) *12 Boys *13 Girls *14 Boys *15 Girls *16 Boys *17 Girls *Youth *Open Women *Open Men
We would like to advise that trials in all female age groups will be held on Saturday 23 July 2016 at Morris Iemma Indoor Sports Centre - 150 Belmore Road, Riverwood.
Trials commence at the following times:
U13 Girls - 10.00am U15 Girls - 10.45am U17 Girls - 11.30am Women - 12.15pm
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to scheduled time in order to register, and bring shin pads and suitable footwear.
Upon selection, a non-refundable deposit of $150 is required, which will be deducted from registration fee.
If you would like further information or simply wish to register your interest to trial please do not hesitate to contact Jennifer Anderson on email ja379998@gmail.com or phone 0437 421 083.
