Everybody was critical of Ange and unfairly in my opinion. He did the best with what he had. At this stage we do not have enough good players to have a good go at the WC. Perhaps Bosnich and yourself tarzan should take over the roll. Good on Ange for walking when he did.

Why Arzani isn’t in squad beckons the question, even when Ange was around?

Why Arzani isn’t in squad beckons the question, even when Ange was around? At this point in his development he'd lose the ball every time he dribbles (which is almost every time he gets it). Berisha at his best looked very average outside the A-League a few years back. A-League v international football??

Otherwise we’d have plenty of 12 year olds in the Socceroos. He’s only just made the starting 11 for Melbourne City....you know that A-League team?? Sure he’s talented and has potential to play for the Socceroos. By his own admission after last nights game he’s just learning that he needs to work much harder in defence.....baby steps! His comment - I never had to do any defending in my youth years, I just stayed up front. I seem to have his MC coach and the Socceroos coach on my side and despite your eye for the next national hero I’ll be comforted to know I’m in fairly good company😁😁

Arzani is a special player that can make the difference if you throw him into an international for the last 15 minutes.
There are no other players like him in Australia at the moment. I wonder if people were saying Messi needs to work on his defence when he was 18 or 19. Arzani is a pure attacker with x factor. We complain that we don't produce any, and the minute one comes along he gets criticised for "not working hard".

Playing France and playing an A-League club I think you'll agree are somewhat different?
Similarly there's more than a small difference between Messi & Arzarni?
His time will/may come....

Let's go for the robots Tarzan. Hard workers, great passers when they see passing lanes, but couldn't beat a cone 1v1.

Perhaps we should teach GK to score goals, that’s Tarzan’s philosophy

Stepping back, what I’m hearing you ( two) say is that after our 4-1 beating by Norway your coaching take-out is that we need more attackers, presumably someone who can score enough goals to compensate for a leaky defence? Really?
