tarzan, What about my uncanny ability to pick the score from half time. Mind you, I would have more chance to score than some of those "professional" players. Those 2 coaches are amateurs for blaming the referee. Kookoo, if the definition of uncanny is "uncomfortably strange", yes you are uncanny!

Personally, I blame the referees for the poor crowd behaviour.

Personally, I blame the referees for the poor crowd behaviour. It's OK, Sydney FC are moving on that front.

I just watched the Victory beat some red team. The Victory have players who can play, they just don't have a coach who can coach. Syd FC haven't got either.

How can the FFA knock back a Canberra club in the A-League team and then have a team in the W-League ? Mind you, Syd Fc should borrow some strikers from the W-League.

I swear you can go to any youth league game to find many players that are better on the ball than 50% of A-League players. The A-League is full of athletes that, ironically, cant play football quickly.

I'd much rather what the youth games. Even local association games are more exciting, and free.

Footy fans well behaved as NSW takes out 2014 State of Origin series! Police have praised crowd behaviour following the second game of the 2014 NRL State of Origin series held at Sydney Olympic Park last night. A high-visibility police operation was in place between 5pm and 11.45pm (Wednesday 18 June 2014) at Sydney Olympic Park, ensuring the safety and security of players, officials and spectators. The operation included officers from South West Metropolitan Region, the Public Order and Riot Squad (PORS), Operations Support Group (OSG), Mounted Unit, Dog Unit, Police Transport Command, Licensing Police and Traffic and Highway Patrol Command. A large number of stadium security and responsible service of alcohol marshals also assisted police at the ground during the operation. A sell-out crowd of more than 83,000 footy fans watched the New South Wales Blues defeat Queensland Maroons to take out the 2014 State of Origin series. During the police operation, 11 people were arrested for offences including assault police, resist arrest, assault, fail to quit, offensive language and pitch invasion (post-match). In addition, 38 people were either ejected from or refused entry to the ground by police and security officers for a range of offences including supply alcohol to a minor, anti-social behaviour, intoxication and failing to quit licensed premises. 230 Likes14 Comments19 Shares LikeComment Alex White, Nicky Leverton, Pam Mullen and 227 others like this. 19 shares Comments Eddie Semaan Eddie Semaan Amanda Kerr June 18, 2014 at 7:41pm Ethan Lee Ethan Lee The cops are using positive reinforcement! Interesting interpretation of 'well behaved'.
NB. I hate flares and I cannot take the R and B Army seriously if they do not appreciate how damaging it is to the game. The comments I have heard from non-football people and complimentary they are about the intensity of 'atmosphere' generated and how it is unrivalled in Australian sport. Nobody in Australian sport makes sound like WSW fans. Nobody makes the stadium vibrate like WSW fans. They definitely set the standard and I know other fans love having them at their home games. Drop the flairs.
