Do they play to the curriculum?4-3-3. It is the only way you will ever win anything. That only works if you are in Australia and have no other good ideas

with the exception that there is no strict 4-3-3 - teams here even kids (shock horror) play what is in front of them, I see plenty of 3-5-2, 4-4-2 and just about any variation there-of. I was at a gk session last night where, lo and behold, 5-6-7 years old were training!!! who would have thunk it! Kids wanting to be gks??? Nah....

Im certain it was to supplement their footwork for playing outfield. Even 5 year olds know that GK's are not real players

the best coaches analyse the talent they have in their squad and make it work for them, in whatever style that may be - football is not always tiki and buying $100M "superstars"....isn't that the beauty of it??? Put them up against Barca and see how they go, the front third will have field day with them. Playing a 'limited' style of football, Atletico Madrid have now knocked out both Barca and Bayern and also riding high domestically. Some of their stuff is not pleasing on the eye but very effective. Just goes to show that the big budgets and superstars doesn't always get the desired results. Wonderful achievement by Leicester !!

Atletico is a different kettle of fish and they are not boring, they play various styles to suit opposition.

Atletico kick the shyte out of the opposition's dangerous players and slow the play down by any means possible. I guess that's your 'cup of tea'

That's my coaching No.1 tactic, if the opposition has better and more skilful players, we kick the crap out of them.
It has been my formula in the O/35s for years. We may not be popular with some of the other clubs but there is never a dull moment and plenty of excitement at our games. Isn't that what it's all about ? Fun and games.
