following up from another thread with discussions about fees.
I'm interested to know what clubs are charging for player registration fees and what do they get for it. My son fee last season was $480 but have heard it will increase to $600 ( told unofficially so may change)
1, does it cost clubs more to run club in Premier League or Premier League 2 than clubs in state league?
2. how much are the average fees
3. What factors do club factor in putting price up? I know it sounds ignorant but $120 increase times 100 players, what is the extra $12,000 for? Have cost of player regos and insurance increased? Court costs increase? Gear..... As a parent I'm very curious about the fee breakdown.
feedback and comments would be appreciated, I'm not having dig at any club or person, I'm genuinely curious as I can't get straight answer from club.

For starters PL clubs have to play on bigger courts that cost more. The average is about $130/$140 an hour. So you can be looking at in excess of $1500.00 a home game depending on young teams. Super League clubs only have to play on basketball size courts. so they are paying $50/60 an hour. Training venues or if clubs train at all is another major cost. Prices avry some courts upwards on $70 an hour on a small court. I know some clubs dont train. Our club trains once, some twice a week. If you are training on International size courts thats an added expense. Referee Fees are dearer in PL. Costing upwards to $600 a round now. Increase this season. Coaches payments if any.... On top of expenses for gear, we pay a photographer, videos, website etc Miscellaeous such as banners, signage, advertising, FNSW fines, balls, bibs training equipment, court hire for trials, court hire for trial games, state titles entry fees, some kids cant pay their entire rego so the club swallows some registration for players who cant afford it..... These are just some of the things which come to mind straight of the bat. If I thought hard about it I could proabably find more.
$120.00 IS WAY TO MUCH FOR 1 SEASON. Weve gone up $50 this season and have never gone up more than that from 1 season to the next.
We are at $650 MM are at $650 Enfield are $670 not sure about Vipers or the rest. Taipans someone mentioned to me are $500.

Yes partly that Dark Lord. thank you Iswam for your breakdown costs, it's much clearer why fees are higher this season. Would you be able to give rough estimate of what gear costs eg. Shirt, shorts, socks, polo and bag? Vipers academy is how much!! What do they get for that?
I do think Fnsw should step in with some of these fees extortion

Do the numbers and see what you come up with. the sums I've come up with is $38,000 I was hoping someone could break it down the fees as from my research, these are the sums I've worked out, what am I missing for the rest of $22,000??? Coaches wages? $8,000 courts for home games $5000 fnsw rego $4000 referee $6000 training $10,000 gear $5,000 presentation

Hate to throw a spanner in the works, but I very much doubt if either of these pay rego. For mine the senior's rort would vary from club to club.

Off the top of my head about 6.5k maybe a bit more went on FNSW regos. Double your figure in training costs + 50% on top of your figure for gear.

Still can't add up to $60,000 I put $5,000 as I had no idea of cost of presentation, I figured $10-15 for actual trophy, cost of hiring venue and all other stuff plus launch. I keep hearing clubs run at a loss and often have to put hands in own pocket to cover expenses...... It seems to be a serious issue amongst clubs..... Is it because of players failing to pay and no support from fnsw? I hear Sutherland have serious debts and could no longer afford to keep going, how long before next club goes because of insufficient funds?

If my mail is correct and I'm certain it is Menai Indoor Centre refused to take bookings from Sutherland Futsal Club. It was left to a parent to put their credit card up as guarantee. Don't believe the parent has been fully repaid the lot yet. Little bit still owing.
