Why is everyone trialling so early before season starts and in middle of outdoor season??

Not really that early if you go and look at last years trial dates.

Why is everyone trialling so early before season starts and in middle of outdoor season?? Because FNSW set a very short window period for P/L clubs to hold trials and the S/L get their turn!

Sydney city eagles trials start this weekend:
Trial Dates:
Dural Sports and Leisure Centre- Cnr pellitt lane and Kenthurst Rd, Dural
Saturday 19th July 2014 4-5pm- 13 and 15 Girls 5-6pm - 17 girls and Open Women
Sunday 20th July 2014... 4:00pm 12 Boys 4:45pm 14 Boys 5:15pm 16 Boys
Please come 15 mins prior to your trial with proper footwear and shin pads.
Upon selection, Players are required to pay $100 deposit deducted from registration fees to secure your spot on the day

Premier League club Mountain Majik still require a few players:
Youth Men - 1 player 17 Girls - 1 player 14 Boys - 1 Goalkeeper
Mountain Majik will be playing home games at the new Valentine Park Centre. Specialist goalkeeper coaching will also be provided.

Valentine is indeed an excellent facility although not a lot of spectator accommodation. It's a shame that initial plans for FNSW to have a facility with 2 International sized courts was never realised.

On the positive side the canteen has great (real) food!

Not an issue for F-League as the games are spaced correctly. But for Premier/State League we all run 45 minute slots which are impossible to run on time, let alone allow an on field warm up. Not many courts do have a warm up area.
