My son is doing an assignment on sports growth in Australia. He wants to include futsal so For stats purposes, how are club numbers in registrations this season compared to last season? Are clubs still struggling to fill teams or would you say in past 12 months there has been growth?
Is there more growth in girls or are numbers declining? Happy to get a discussion going as i suggested first hand info will be better than google.

Western Wolves Futsal Club has limited vacancies in a couple of our Girls teams.
Our Girls Academy team, under the guidance of "JJ", is looking for a couple of girls to complete the team. Girls can be aged between 8 and 12 years, and judging by last Saturdays games, will have a great morning of friendly competition each week. Games are played at Valentine Sports Park on Saturday mornings.
Our 15 girls team requires a Goalkeeper and a couple of court players for State League. Plenty of court time and regular weekly training for both these teams.
Please contact me on 0414 889938 if you're interested in playing for Western Wolves Girls at Emerton.

Wasn't registration deadline last Friday? Or was that a scare tactic by fnsw? clubs are still looking for players so does that mean round 1, some teams will be short? btw mumbler....who is "JJ"?

Quite a few trial games played yesterday, i know results don't count, but how did all the clubs go?
After winning the magicians cup, will mountain majic also be crowned club champions in the premier league?
Another question? State championships were advertised as only state and premier league teams could enter. How is it, now looking at the draw it appears some teams are from parts of nsw that dont have clubs playing these 2 leagues. Did fnsw bend the rules due to low number of entrants?

They weren't advertised as only PL and SL, that was incorrect information spread by people on this forum. Read the flyer and it clearly states in big bold letters "OPEN TO ALL PLAYERS".

How did everyone go over the weekend? The 14s boys there were plenty of upsets which I have to say is good for the upcoming season.

I was just looking at the results from last weekend and there were some big differences.
Also looking at the squad lists on FNSW, there are a lot of names not there that have been for a long time. Some clubs seem to have either lost a lot or their players were elsewhere last weekend.

I have it as Vipers 32, Majic 30, Majik 30, Rovers 29, Uts 28, Warriors 25, Quake 19 and Pheonix 14. I expect the top three to be Ma gic, Vipers and Dural followed by Ma jik and Rovers then UTS and Quake and last place goes to Pheonix.
