Mumbler. are the Wolves the old "Vikings"; I gather you're not at the Eagles this season... Hi VOR, No Wolves are not a rehashed "Vikings". Brand new club, new ideas, family values, lots of enthusiastic people involved. And I'm not at Eagles this time, but I wish the club every success this season. I enjoyed my time there last season and I'm sure Eagles will keep on keeping on, as they have for many, many years. Here's to good, healthy competition , and friendly rivalry, between all the State League Clubs :-)

I don't know about a void. I do know that the Club Commitee wants to start off with clear rules and expectations for players, coaches and supporters. Wanting to see kids play good futsal, train regularly, improve over the season, and enjoy themselves, well I think we are just doing the right thing by all concerned, rather than filling the void. I know everyone involved is very excited and can't wait for our first trials this weekend. :-)

Breaking News: Sydney City Eagles are excited to announce our 2 conveners for the upcoming futsal season.
Roy Perre, our Club President, is back in the ring doing what he does best and will be looking after our male teams from 12 Boys to Open Men. Roy is the founder of the Eagles club and has had many successful years at club level and has been known to collect the biggest trophy at national titles on more than a few occasions as well. Roy has always had a good eye for recognizing talent and potential on the futsal court and has introduced many great and successful players to the indoor arena. He is very passionate about the game and his expertise and enthusiasm is willingly picked up by every player that comes under his guidance.
We are all happy to have Roy Perre back but read on to see what we are really excited about.
The Women’s Convenor this season is Joe Baldacci who will be looking after our teams from 13 Girls to Open Women. Joe has been involved with women’s football and futsal for many years and has had great success in both codes. He is currently the Head Coach for Inter Lions Football Club Womens/Girls Premier League. Until recently he was with Inner West Magic Futsal club where he had been since the early days when it flew under the banner of Inner West Allstars. Joe has also had great success over the years and keen to add silverware to his already full trophy cabinet.
We are excited to have these 2 great men working together in partnership to develop our players and guide them to achieving great success this season.
