LOL I want $1 from each video for advertising on the forum.............. Just joking. The USB stick is a good idea though.

Great job once again Mr J. We don't come to expect anything but from you! Let me tell you my USB has had a pretty good workout these last 2 days...

Great work with the highlight video! Thank you. Clearly the AV guy at the Futsal Gala Dinner last Saturday didn't agree. He chose to mute the sound and play some soft slow music as the "diners couldn't listen to that song for 40 minutes". Note to Mr AV Guy: When you mute the music you also mute the crowd! As for the music, its not the greatest, but it is royalty free that allows the music to be viewed on all platforms (shown at gala dinners etc) and is 135+ beats per minute which you need for action videos (not slow soft dinner music).

I agree Mr J. but I was more interested in the goals by those red shirts towards the end...

I'd rather the sound you put in than any, slow, soft music to a highlight video. Your sound seemed to at least suit the video. Ah well, let them be, remember these people care more about money than the sport itself. As for the Gala Awards Night, would it not be a better idea to hand out Golden Boot and Goalkeeper of the Year along with the MVP awards? Just my personal opinion but it seemed the people winning those awards would get a better sense of recognition than receiving the awards after the grand final.

How about handing out the team awards as well, as they used to? There was no club-person-of-the-year either...

The issue is the length of time it takes to hand out all these awards.
Champions Minor Prems MVP GK of the Year Golden Boot
multiplied by 20 teams (9 SL, 9 PL and 2 AWD) = 100 awards....plus SL and PL Club champs etc etc etc.
The only real alternative is to have two award nights. One for SL and one for PL?

I agree on all points you make but having said that there was a lot of idle/down time where most people got bored...
A team works really hard all year and at the presentation night the public recognition of their achievement is a 5 second slide on a screen... And in the case of my Men's team all you saw was my ugly mug and the captain's face, when in reality it is the players that have to be recognised!
2 separate nights does not seem like a bad idea but I can already hear the S/L people arguing...
