Hi all,
Its been an interesting read on the new season coming up.
It has also been interesting reading the articles on futsalforall.
I began researching (google) in last couple of days trying to find information about new season.I know season usually starts end September, and I could't help noticing how quiet it has been, normally at my sons outdoor training or games, people are talking about trials and player movements and so on.
I made contact with my sons coach from last season and he said the club until recently were not sure where they were playing as new court regulations have come in.
What is the go with this?
So we want to be competitive on the international stage, ok that's fair, but how will my 12 year old son or any jnr boy or girl benefit from international court size?
Again it seems priority is the men and the rest of the teams bear the costs.
Good on you fnsw for killing the sport.
How many parents will be happy paying the extra court costs the club has?
How many parents will be happy living 40 minutes to the new home court , perfect example Campbelltown players travelling to windsor every 2ndweek.
I get that fnsw sees this as moving forward but why not have the men/women play at an international sized venue on a friday or Saturday night similar to the f- league competition.
You would draw a better crowd for the seniors, as jnrs would come watch rather than hang around all day.
It would save costs for club and players and the best bit is every club stays at their
"home"
Quake president established there was not enough venues to accommodate club, so why enforce it.
Anyone know when any official announcements will be made with the new season?
All I have found is trial dates and rumors.
