Its NOT an offence to call out "mine", "leave it"...
Its a pet hate of mine (pun intended). I have seen even experienced referees give a free kick when a players says "mine" to his team mate as means of communicating with him/her. Its not a free kick. Its a myth (among a few other ones around). Players and young kids see this and when/if they become referees they apply it as though it is a law and the cycle goes no.
The only time it is an offence to call out "mine" or even your own name is if it is done deliberately do deceive/distract an opponent. In this case it is a yellow card for unsporting behaviour.

Seen it also happen in EPL games. Likewise at Viareggio tournament some yrs ago, Apia were the beneficiaries of such a goal from a rack, where the call went out to "leave it", so everyone watched as the ball sail into the net = Goal!!

Screaming mine or leave it is basically cheating and and indirect free kick should be given. It's distracting to all the players because some actually step back or away when they hear the call.

You step back when someone yells out "mine" or "leave it", you are a bit silly. If, in the opinion of the referee the calls distracts someone from playing the ball then a mandatory caution is applied.

Not sure what you guys are on about, she does all these weird soccer calls, moves etc.
All of a sudden she would call out "half time, swap side" and turn her back on me.
Reckon she's Greek?!

So with all the trendy names these days what happens if someone names their child "Mine"?
It's still ok to call it out but as ۞ has said above, distract / deceive a player and it's a caution and indirect free kick
